I had always been interested in algorithmic trading, so when I came across QuantumTrade AI, a crypto trading bot that claimed to use machine learning to execute profitable trades automatically, I was intrigued. The platform advertised itself as the future of trading, promising an 80% success rate with little to no effort from investors.

Their website was filled with testimonials from traders who claimed they had made thousands in passive income just by letting the bot trade for them. There were even videos of people demonstrating their profits, showing how the bot consistently executed winning trades. Everything looked professional, and I thought, Why not give it a try?

I signed up and funded my account with $3,000 in Bitcoin, expecting to see small but steady profits. The bot’s dashboard showed real-time trades, and in the first few days, my balance grew to $3,800. Excited by the results, I decided to increase my deposit to $10,000 so the bot could execute larger trades.

That’s when things went horribly wrong.

One morning, I logged into my account and saw a series of losing trades that had completely wiped out my balance. My $10,000 investment was gone, and I was in shock. I immediately contacted customer support, and they assured me that the bot had “experienced temporary volatility” but that I could recover my losses if I deposited more funds to execute new trades.

That was my first real red flag. Why would I need to deposit more to “recover” my money? I started researching and discovered that QuantumTrade AI was a scam. The testimonials were fake, the so-called “real-time trading” was actually just a scripted display, and the entire operation was designed to lure investors into depositing funds before shutting down accounts and vanishing.

When I refused to deposit more money, I was locked out of my account, and within days, the website disappeared completely. I later found out that hundreds of people had lost their savings to this so-called AI trading bot.
