Victims were persuaded to deposit ETH through deceptive marketing, false promises of smart contract automation, and highly inflated APY figures. Platforms connected to these wallets used sleek UIs and fabricated user success stories to build trust. However, no staking or DeFi engagement occurred, and the funds were siphoned into the listed addresses. The entities disappeared shortly after collecting funds, confirming the scam’s fraudulent nature.
