On November 15, 2024, we received a report about a scam involving a loss of $7,710. The victim was contacted via WhatsApp by someone claiming to represent a “Professional Recruiting Agency” offering a freelance job. The job involved app optimization tasks, such as giving apps 5-star reviews and earning commission for each submission. The victim was trained to complete these tasks and could withdraw earnings to a crypto wallet, making the scheme initially appear legitimate.

However, the scam turned suspicious when “combo tasks” required the victim to reinvest personal funds into the platform. Despite reassurances from the scammer, the victim ended up losing $6,000. Attempts to withdraw funds were blocked unless an additional payment of $6,800 was made. The scam involved the blockchain address 0xd4f9afbf41208b2eeb96277cfa1d162461b72d06 and the fraudulent website bitswits.co.

The victim is seeking urgent help to recover the lost funds.
