      Domain Analysis

The website cyruptagdfx.top was created on October 25, 2023, and registered under the registrar Shanghai Meicheng Technology Information Development Co., Ltd. It will expire exactly one year later, on October 25, 2024.

The registrant information for the domain is largely redacted for privacy, as is common with many domain registrations to protect personal data. However, it is known that the registrant organization is Wang Xiao Jie, located in the province of ShanDongSheng, China. The exact contact details, including address and phone number, are hidden, requiring queries through the registrar’s RDDS service for more information.

Analyzing the domain’s digital footprint reveals minimal activity and presence. According to Semrush, a notable SEO and digital marketing tool, the domain cyruptagdfx.top has an authority score of zero, indicating it is either very new or has little to no established credibility or backlinks. The domain does not rank for any keywords and has no significant organic or paid search traffic, which supports the notion that it is a new entry on the web landscape or might be part of a short-term scam operation.

There are only ten backlinks, all of which are nofollow links. These backlinks come from sites that list newly registered domains, such as XploreDomains and Newly Registered Domains, as well as several subdomains of uplinke.com that are associated with various automation and content creation services. These backlinks often indicate minimal legitimate web presence and can be a red flag for potential fraudulent activities.

      Cyruptagdfx.top Reviews

The scam involving the website cyruptagdfx.top is a sophisticated and well-orchestrated scheme that targets individuals through social media platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram.

Google Safe Browsing and other security platforms have flagged cyruptagdfx.top as a dangerous site. Attempts to visit the site result in warnings about phishing and malware, advising users to go back to safety.

According to various sources, including a detailed report from the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) and user complaints on Reddit, this scam has caused its victims significant financial losses.

Victims are typically contacted by someone posing as a high-ranking officer from a reputable digital financial services company. One detailed complaint narrates how a victim was approached by “Carl,” who claimed to be the Chief Information Officer at a Santa Monica-based company. The conversation began on LinkedIn and soon shifted to Instagram, where Carl proposed a joint investment in cryptocurrency assets.

Carl convinced the victim to create a Trust Wallet account and connect it to cyruptagdfx.top, which he falsely described as a decentralized application (DApp). Under Carl’s guidance, the victim made several fund transfers and trades on the platform, believing they were earning significant profits.

When the victim attempted to withdraw their funds, Carl and the so-called DApp customer support began a series of manipulative tactics to extort more money. The victim was initially asked to provide a verification deposit of $103,000, followed by accusations of providing a false bank account, which led to a demand for an additional $95,000. Desperate to recover their funds, the victim cashed out their 401k, borrowed money, and even took out bank loans totaling over $135,600.

Despite these payments, the victim was continually harassed with more demands, including $50,000 to open a “fast withdrawal channel” and additional fees for each day of delay. Carl manipulated the victim further by claiming he had lost all the money in a bad trade and had even sold his kidney to help cover the second deposit. He demanded more money from the victim for medical treatment.

      Conclusion

Cyruptagdfx.top is a fraudulent trading platform designed to exploit unsuspecting individuals through elaborate and coercive tactics.

The DFPI’s Crypto Scam Tracker also lists cyruptagdfx.top as part of a “Pig Butchering Scam,” a term used to describe long-term, manipulative scams where victims are fattened up with fake gains before being slaughtered with sudden demands for large sums of money.

The use of professional titles, sophisticated website interfaces, and continuous pressure tactics make it a highly dangerous scam. Victims suffer substantial financial losses and emotional distress. It is crucial to verify the legitimacy of any investment platform and report suspicious activities to authorities immediately. Sharing experiences on forums and with regulatory bodies can help prevent others from falling victim to similar scams.
