Description: Victims are tricked by a live stream on YouTube that falsely claims to be a Cardano giveaway hosted by Charles Hoskinson. The scammer, pretending to be Hoskinson, promotes a “giveaway” that encourages viewers to send funds to a provided address in exchange for larger returns. After victims send their funds, no giveaway occurs, and the scammer cuts off communication, leaving them with no way to recover their money. The scam is still active as of the time of writing this.
