Starting in March 2024, victims reported being contacted by so-called brokers from FusionLots.com, who managed investments through AnyDesk and phone calls. The victims were misled into making several deposits in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum into specific wallet addresses, purportedly for investment and account upgrades.
The scam included demands for additional deposits under the guise of commissions and fees. Withdrawals were systematically denied or falsified, leading to significant financial losses for the victims. The reported total losses exceed 40,000 euros, converted into cryptocurrencies and transferred to the scammers’ wallets.
If you have been affected by this scam, please share your experience to support ongoing investigations and help prevent further victimization.
