Type of Scam: Investment Scam

Details: Victims were lured into investing in the Xonsu crypto platform, promoting a cryptocurrency called ASL. Scammers used WhatsApp to reach potential investors and created a false sense of legitimacy. Investors were later asked to pay additional miner fees to withdraw their funds. Despite these payments, withdrawals were never processed. Recently, the Xonsu website became inaccessible, further solidifying its fraudulent nature. This operation has caused significant financial loss to its victims.
