I Didn’t Realize the Website Had Changed Until I Checked My Browser History
This happened while I was comparing a platform I’d visited a few weeks earlier.
I couldn’t remember the exact web address, so I opened my browser history to find it.
That’s when something looked odd.
The website I had bookmarked no longer opened. Instead, I found another domain with almost the same design, the same logo, and even the same promotional text.
For a moment, I wondered if the company had simply rebranded.
Then I compared both pages more carefully.
The investment plans were almost identical.
The FAQ had nearly the same wording.
Even the contact page looked familiar, except for the new domain name.
I’m not saying this proves anything by itself. Companies do change domains for legitimate reasons.
But if a financial platform changes its website, I think it’s reasonable to ask why.
Did the company announce the change?
Were existing users informed?
Can the old and new domains be linked through official sources?
If I can’t answer those questions, I become much more cautious.
Since then, I’ve started saving the original website address whenever I’m researching a platform. It’s a small habit, but it makes it much easier to notice if something changes later.
Has anyone else come across a crypto platform that suddenly appeared under a different domain?
I’m curious whether there was a reasonable explanation or whether it turned out to be something worth investigating further.
