A complaint has been filed regarding a fraudulent cryptocurrency service offered through go.chaintrends.com. After participating in a webinar, victims were enticed to purchase access to software that purportedly filters cryptocurrencies by market cap and functionality and provides direct customer service. The cost of this service was $997.

Victims reported receiving an email promising account setup within 12-24 hours and an invitation to join a community chat on Telegram. Despite multiple follow-ups, customer service did not respond. Other members in the Telegram group reported similar experiences, with some waiting weeks without receiving the promised software. Questions about the service’s legitimacy resulted in immediate removal from the chat.

Upon requesting a refund, victims were threatened with legal action if they attempted to dispute the charge with their credit card company. The scammer, identified as Dan Dasilva, operates under Weerk Capital LLC.
