Sofia Andrea, operating under the handle @crypto.investor.sofia, promotes cryptocurrency investment on her Instagram page. After I sent her the “mentorship” keyword mentioned in her bio, she contacted me to discuss the prospect of engaging in crypto trading. She convincingly answered all my questions, leading me to make an initial investment of $300. Remarkably, this amount purportedly grew to $4900 within an hour. However, when I attempted to withdraw my earnings, I received an email from her company stating that I needed to pay $1,050 for a withdrawal pin. Desperate to access my funds, I secured a short-term loan to cover this cost and sent it to the specified crypto wallet. Following this payment, the company provided the withdrawal pin, but a subsequent attempt to withdraw my funds was halted by a request for a TMV pin. The company then demanded an additional $1,900 to obtain this pin and release my funds. Realizing the deceptive nature of these transactions, I refrained from sending more money. Upon contacting Sofia about this new demand, she fabricated another explanation, asserting that such occurrences were rare and that the additional deposit would be included in my profits.
