It is a fraudulent site. Once you place money in it, it’s gone. They might return a small amount to gain your confidence and then steal larger amounts. The currency you see in your Catycoin account is fake. Stay away from crypto trading groups, as they show you an easy income from placing trades on nonexistent crypto but are only here to steal your money.
On Reddit, a user shared a story about their aunt being scammed through a WhatsApp group run by “Professor Mark” and “Jonnae.” The group persuaded her to download the CATY co app and a crypto app like Gemini, deposit $6000, and transfer it to CATY co. After following trading signals and making trades, she faced issues withdrawing funds and had her account suspended. The scam occurred through the website app.catycoin.com.
Other users in the thread discussed similar experiences and warned against attempting to recover funds through dubious services. Some posts recommended recovery services, while others flagged them as scams.
