I Asked One Question and the “Support Team” Disappeared
A friend sent me a crypto website and asked what I thought about it.
I didn’t know the platform, so I opened the live chat.
Me: Where is the company registered?
Support: We are a global cryptocurrency trading company.
Fair enough. I asked again.
Me: Can you give me the registered company name or registration number?
The reply took longer this time.
Support: Our platform uses advanced blockchain technology and provides secure profits to investors.
That wasn’t my question.
So I asked a third time.
Me: I understand. What is the legal company name?
Chat ended.
I refreshed the page and tried again. No response.
Honestly, that short conversation told me more than the polished homepage did.
I’m not saying every slow or unhelpful support team is running a scam. But if a platform accepts people’s money, asking who legally operates it shouldn’t be treated like a difficult question.
A few direct questions can be surprisingly useful:
Who operates the platform?
Where is the business registered?
What happens if a withdrawal is delayed?
Who handles formal complaints?
Pay attention to whether they answer the actual question.
Sometimes the red flag isn’t what support says.
It’s what they keep avoiding.
