Has anyone noticed this pattern with new crypto websites?
I’m not pointing fingers at any specific website because I don’t have enough evidence to call something a scam. This is more of an observation, and I’m curious if others have noticed the same thing.
Over the past month, I’ve looked at several newly launched crypto platforms. They all seemed different at first, but after spending some time on them, I started seeing a few similarities.
For example, the homepage usually promises a simple investment process, there are lots of positive testimonials, and the support team replies almost instantly before you create an account.
Then I started checking a little further.
Some domains were only a few months old. A few platforms had almost no discussions outside their own social media pages. Others had plenty of five-star reviews, but very little conversation from people explaining their actual experience after using the service.
That made me stop and think.
Maybe there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation, but I personally feel more comfortable when I can find independent discussions from real users rather than only promotional content.
I’m curious how everyone else researches a platform before trusting it.
Do you mainly rely on reviews?
Do you check how old the domain is?
Or do you have another method that’s worked well for you?
I’d genuinely like to hear what other members look for, because I’m always trying to improve my own research process.
